Krav Maga Self-Protect is a self-defence system which is inherently unsuitable for children. It's a very efficient emergency system which is used by the police force and security workers. Yet just learning the techniques is not enough. You must be able to grasp the full scope of conceivable consequences and to understand whether the use of a certain technique in a particular situation is proportional or not. Due to their age, children are not able to make these decisions correctly yet. Therefore, there is a legal maturity requrement at Krav Maga Self-Protect (the minimum age of 18).
