Defend yourself!
Armed robberies, sexual assaults and domestic violence are on the rise, as the numbers in the chart are clearly showing. (Crime statistics, Kanton Zurich, "Domestic violence in the year 2008).
An increasing number of women are therefore seeking safety and efficient ways of protecting themselves and others.Women-Protect gives women the knowledge and techniques they need in order to protect themselves from sexual violence or brutal assaults. They learn simple and efficient self-defence techniques while working on and boosting their self-confidence at the same time, so that they can act in a threatening situation.
Courage and determination to defend yourself increase your chances
of no longer being a victim - or of becoming one in the first place. It is up to each woman to become active and leave behind the passive role of the victim. She must
actively tackle this task. It is not possible to prevent an act of
violence solely by hoping for the assailant to have a change of
heart.
